Quality and Safety Performance Improvement
Quality and safety performance processes enable Cedar Park Regional Medical Center to improve quality outcomes and the patient experience. There are multidisciplinary committees with a continual focus on improving our readmission rates, HCAHPS metrics, and timeliness of care, while reducing mortality rates. In 2021, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center was recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for being one of 332 hospitals in the nation with the lowest catheter-acquired urinary tract infection rates.

- Get With The Guidelines Gold Plus Achievement Award from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association for Quality in Stroke Care
- Level IV Trauma Designation
- Cedar Park Regional Medical Center achieved the designation of Comprehensive Center for Bariatric Surgery by the American College of Surgeons Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). This level of recognition indicates that CPRMC demonstrates compliance with volume requirements and all applicable MBSAQIP standards, allocates appropriate resources to care for medically complex bariatric patients, and is committed to ongoing quality improvement.
- Maternal Level II Designation from the State of Texas - Development of a multidisciplinary program with tracking and trending of metrics to facilitate and maintain high quality processes to meet all state Level II requirements.

- STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) Program - Cedar Park Regional Medical Center's metrics exceed state and national standards for timely treatment of heart attacks.
